Well I know I just posted earlier today. But we had a great evening last night just had to share!
Each of the kids brought home a Christmas tree which had instructions to decorate the trees as a family. Be creative, we could use pretty much anything, beads, ribbon, stickers, etc. So we got out my activities box...of course the first thing they go for is the beads and jingle bells. I wanted to start supper so I told them while I prepared supper they can start putting things on their tree. They actually were doing pretty good till they found the glitter!!! NO!!! I love the way glitter looks on things but hate the mess!! So I call that an outside project! They couldn't use it or look at it till everything else was glued and put on. haha!
After putting supper in the oven, Jonathan and I sat down and helped the kids hot glue the beads and jingle bells and others that they wanted on the tree! You can definitely tell that the kids decorated them! I hate to be one of those parents that do the kids projects for them, just so they 'look' prettier....I think my kids creations are beautiful without any of my help...plus it opens their mind to imagine and create wonders!
Rheannas was just the way she wanted it. Simple and classy!
Jake on the other hand had to put everything on it a certain way. I had some camo paper that I cut out into the shape of leaves so he could put that on there. Then he had to have a whole line of beads down the middle of the tree with jingle bells on the ends of the tree and little pom poms. But that is what he wanted so that is what we did!
We had a great evening that is until supper time....I made roast with potatoes and Jonathan made corn bread and brownies for dessert! We always eat at the coffee table it is something we started doing a while back and just enjoyed it so we kept doing it. Everything was very good! I was sitting in the middle and had Rheanna on the left side of me and Jake on the right side of me. Half way through eating Rheanna said she was done eating and that she wanted a brownie. I told her that if she had room for the brownie she had enough room to finish her plate and then get a brownie. Needless to say she didn't like what I told her. But she kept eating, at least I thought she did.....Me knowing how the kids are and their personalities. I knew something was up. Rheanna is a slow eater. So when 2 pieces of her meat where gone withing a few seconds something wasn't right...I asked her where she had put the two pieces of meat at. She said she ate them, but I knew better! I asked her 3 times and then asked if she had put them under the table, she said no! So I asked her 2 times if she was lieing, and she said no! Not until I move the table did she start saying YES, YES!! She had taken her meat and threw it under the coffee table just so she could get the brownie. This did not sit well with Jonathan he told her exactally what he thought and she was sent to bed! Jake, oh my sweet innocent Jake. As me and Jonathan are cleaning up the mess from under the table. Jake is sitting on the other side of the table shaking his head saying..."Good trick,.. that was a good trick," I couldn't help but laugh. The way he said it was hilarious! The rest of the night ended up pretty good! Jake finished eating his food and got a brownie and then hit the sack! I got the dishes and kitchen clean and watched a movie...
Well Until next time.....God Bless!

Living A Deer Camp Life
Well we once again headed to deer camp this past weekend. We had a great time as always. The kids cousins and Uncle James came too! They had such a blast! Climbing trees, sitting in the stand, playing dominoes, and the whole works! There was plenty of things for them to do. But we called it an early night on Friday, because it was just too darn cold! Well right after we played a round of dominoes!
Saturday, however was a very eventful day! We got up in the morning, ate breakfast and let the kids play. Then Jonathan, Jake, and the rest of the guys started to work. They moved the corn away from our camper so no mice would get in it. And I threw out moth balls around the perimeter of the camper. Rheanna and J.J (her friend that is a boy, not her boyfriend!!! As she always tells me!) played the whole time while at deer camp. It was pretty funny they hardly ever left each others sight! And any time they got to take a ride they made whoever was driving stop at the end of the road so they could walk back together by themselves to camp. It was so funny and cute! But don't ask them if thats their girl/boy friend!! They tend to get pretty defensive about it!! Haha!
The kids also got to work by stacking up wood while us adults got to sit back and relax for a short moment. My cousin Vicki is the greatest she took them for lots of rides and put them to work!!!
Overall we had a good weekend! And as always we look forward to going again soon!

Busy Bees...
Wow! I haven't gotten on in a while...so lets start the updating!
Friday we had a good evening. After work we all went to So & Mo's House and ate supper. Deer steaks with mashed potatoes and fresh green beans from the garden!! It was so YUMMY! But both me and Jonathan were soooo tired. We helped cleaned up the dishes and then headed to the house. We were all in bed by 9:15 sleeping!!! Which was great, cause we got lots accomplished Saturday.
Rheanna woke up early at 7:15 and started cleaning her room. ( Their cousin was coming over to play later but I told them that until their room and the whole house is clean, no one is coming over!!) So we got up and started the cleaning process. I had tons of laundry to do, and we still had to move the freezer to spot where I wanted it. Which meant Jonathan had to hook up an electric socket to that spot since there was no plug there. Needless to say he did it pretty quick! The house was cleaned and we even put up the Christmas tree and decor. And Jonathan put up the lights outside with the help of Jacob. Later Dawn, Dan, Chase, and Braden come over to play. They had lots of fun playing and they even got to put up lights on their own tree! We BBQ some steaks and had a great evening with a few more friends that joined later!
Chase stayed the night with us, and Sunday morning we woke up and went to church. All the kids did really well in church and I was surprised that Chase was really getting in to it. I could hear him and Rheanna singing! So cute! Jacob on the other hand just wanted me to hold him the whole time. ( I think he was just wore out and needed to get some more sleep!) Afterwards we went home and changed then headed to So & Mo's house. Mo (my Dad) and Jonathan shot my gun a few times to make sure it was sighted in, while me and So cooked spaghetti and made cheesy garlic toast! Mo took Rhea and Chase on the four-wheeler and now they apparently know where the deers hiding spots are!! LOL! We ate lunch, helped clean up, and then Jonathan, Mo, and I loaded up to go to Aunt Patty's deer lease in Palacios! All the kids stayed with my Wonderful and loving Mom. Thanks to my Mom for watching the kiddos! She's awesome!
We got down to Palacios about 2:15 and headed to the deer stands. Me and Jonathan in one stand, Mo in another and Patty just threw up her pop-up tent somewhere! The grass over there was so tall it was hard to see the deer, until they got to one little opening where the grass wasn't tall. Mr. Impatient Jonathan was so anxious to shoot I had to keep reminding him this isn't duck hunting you have to be patient and wait for the deer to come closer! He just had that deer fever running through him! The deer finally come closer and in the open area and we got it!!!! A nice doe! We were so excited, like two little kids again! LOL!
So we picked it up and cleaned it and headed home! So happy that I can fill up my deep freezer full of meat and won't have to go to the store and buy that yucky ground beef! Sorry, but my Dad makes the best ground meat out of deer and pork, HANDS DOWN!! Overall we had a great weekend!
But I am so ready for Thanksgiving! Until next time....God Bless!

Sweet Little Moments
There are so many moments in life that are over looked. Like every time we say I love you, or times that our kids say the sweetest things. I am sure we think we can remember everything but as time goes on and the kids begin to grow all these things become over looked. We start thinking more about the future, college, expenses and so on. That is one reason I started this blog, I want to be able to share and remember ALL the 'little' moments. Especially when the kids are older they can look back and laugh, and appreciate every thing they were when given- love, affection, laughter, happiness, and even those sweet little moments.
Last night was one of those memories. We had a nice evening, Rheanna and I went to go get 2 movies.( Notice I bolded the 2). We usually go to Blockbuster every so often and get a movie, one for the kids, and one for me and Jonathan. Well when we got there they were having a SALE. ----I am a Coupon Mom and try to save around every corner. That is why we don't rent the movies I just buy the previewed ones. It is the same cost as renting one and plus you get to keep it!---- Well instead of just getting the 2 movies we came for we walked out with 10 movies!! ( I know it sounds bad but listen). The sale was buy $25 worth of movies get $25 of movies for free!!! Now how can I pass that deal up! We got 10 movies, some that were newer releases, for $30. Now a days you can go to Wal-Mart and buy a newer release movie for $20.00! So need less to say we won't have to buy movies for a LONG time!
When we got back to the house I started supper, we had a nice dinner, ate dessert, and watched one of the new movies with the kids. We watched Marmaduke, it was such a cute and funny movie. I highly recommend it as a family movie. ( I think I laughed more than the kids!) I absolutely love when we have family movie night. Usually we each have one kid cuddled next to us watching the movie. Last night was different though by the end of the movie, Jake was cuddled on top of my right side and Rheanna on my left. I love to know the feeling that they love me so much, just as much as I love them. It just gets me all warm and fuzzy inside.( I know corny, but true.)
After the movie, we went to put the kids to bed.----Every night Jonathan and I lay both the kids down and have to say our night prayers. I am so proud that Rheanna learned all her prayers within 2 weeks. And Jake is slowly starting to know a few.----When we say our prayers I usually sit on Jakes bed and Jonathan on Rheanna's bed. Last night after we got done saying prayers, I was giving Jake hugs and kisses, he gave me a big hug and wouldn't let go. ( Here is one of those sweet little moments) Jake was hugging me and told me " Kimmie I will hold you forever." I said "Really!" Jake replied, " Yes, I hold you forever and you can't go to work, I will make you late." Now by this time I'm starting to laugh. I told him "Well I have to go to bed too!" He replied "Well, you are in bed, my bed!" As I was trying to hold in my laughter I told him, " Well maybe Daddy wants to hold me!?" And his reply was, "Well, Daddy doesn't like you, but I do!" I asked him "Why does Daddy keep me around then, just to cook and clean?" He said, "Yea, he doesn't like you he just likes you to cook and clean!" I was busting out laughing at this point. Then Jake looks at me with those sparkling little eyes and says, " Kimmie I just playing! Haha! Daddy likes you a whole lot and I do too!" It was the most hilarous thing I had ever heard! By this time Jonathan walks in the room cause he had heard us laughing so much, he walked in and I told him what Jake had said. Jonathan started laughing and asked, " Jake are taking my girlfriend away? What about me?" Jake had one arm wrapped around me and threw out his other arm and said, " Come here Daddy, I have two hands! I hold you both!" It was the sweetest yet funniest things he has ever done. This is just one of those 'sweet little moments' I will cherish forever.
These are the moments in life that sometimes slip between the cracks over the years. But now they can be cherished forever by the family, and by the kids when they get older. Until next time........God Bless!

A Deer Camp Weekend
Well we had a GREAT weekend!!!! Deer camp was awesome as always, and we got to see some really nice deer!! The kids had a blast! Jake and Rhea had their own little camp and fire, which Rheanna decorated with wire and some Christmas lights she found. Jake pulled every truck and tractor out to play with, although he pulls them all out he still just plays with a stick or broom or anything besides the toys. He is a character and has a personality on him like no other. He can be very serious, and the next moment he is cracking jokes. Rheanna had everything fixed up their 'camp', she wants things to be done her way, and won't take no for an answer! She is a good kid, hardheaded, but a sweet little girl.
Sunday we packed up and headed to So and Mo's House, ( that is what Jake and Rhea call my parents). We walked in and my Mom was baking, so of course Jake has to help. We found a camo chef hat and he put it on, his job was to roll out the dough. I got a few pictures of him that I will post later. My Dad made us fried and grilled fish. It was yummy!! We helped clean up and then headed to our house!
Oh, it sure was nice to be home, the kids played with their cousins for a while and then we all had to get ready for church. Rheanna is really starting to be more girly,( remind you she was raised by Jonathan, and she is the only girl in the entire Eide family) I had their clothes picked out already, so as soon as they got out of the shower, they could change. Rheanna had a really cute outfit on and she said she wanted her hair down and straighten and to have make-up. So I straighten her hair, now for the make-up, she said she wanted everything that I put on. (All I wear is powder, eyeliner, and mascara. Literally it takes me 5-7 minutes and I'm done with my make-up) As I put it on her, I show and explain to her how to put it on. So I put the powder on, next was eyeliner I told she isn't allowed to wear that until she is 14, and then mascara I put mine on and then barely put some on her. I told her she can get her own mascara next time we are at the store. ( I really hope they still make that clear mascara, they had it when I was a kid.) She thought she was the coolest kid on the block. OH wait! I forgot about the jewelry she had to wear as well. She was so cute!
We had a great weekend! And boy it sure is getting cold, its that time! Thanksgiving and then Christmas is right around the corner. Until next time.......God Bless!

A Little Overview..
So there I was a normal 21 about to be 22yr. old, having the time of my life,(or so I thought I was) partying, not having a care in the world, and working just to pass the time. When....BAM! I met Jonathan one night, we talked for hours on end, and something just drew me to him. First thing off he told me he had kids, which was fine with me, I come from a HUGE family I have 4 aunts and 6 uncles plus their spouses and roughly 30-35 immediate cousins that is just on one side of the family!! But then I had to stop and think he has 2 kids, that is a big responsibility, am I really ready for that??? But I went with the flow and sure glad I did....Since the day I met Jonathan and the kids we have been inseparable. Jonathan is my best friend, I tell him everything, things I wouldn't tell people in a million years he knows, and still loves me. God couldn't have made a more perfect match for me. And the kids, I love the kids more than anything in this world! Its funny how you can fall in love with them so quickly!
Now on to the quick details, Jonathan is divorced and has custody of both Rheanna and Jake. They see their Mother every so often. Both Jonathan and the kids have been through a lot. But the way they live their life with such laughter and happiness you would never have known it. Jonathan and I are still friends with the mothers side of the family, especially their Aunt Dawn, she has kids around the same age as Rheanna and Jake so they love to go and play with them. It may seem weird to some that I can hang out with their mothers side of the family but they seem to enjoy my company just as much as I enjoy theirs.
On to the catch up game.....I started working at El Campo Spraying around the same time me and Jonathan started dating. I always share what we did with the kids over the weekend and little funny things the kids say here and there with my fellow co-worker Cherie. She is always on my butt about getting a journal and writing all the things we've done, things the kids say, and mainly our 'adventures' down. So here's to you Cherie this is my journal.
Then school started Rheanna started at a new school--Hutchins she is in the 2nd grade--. Jacob started Pre-K this year at Methodist Child Care. Rheanna is doing really well in her classes, actually she's an above average student! So proud of her! Jake is enjoying Pre-K as well. He has been learning a lot!
Well this looks like a good stopping point.....We will be headed out to deer camp this weekend so I know I will come back with many stories to tell. Until then....God Bless!
