It has been a while since I last posted because of all the craziness!! We have had a lot of mishaps from Jacob's behavior in school, to Rheanna thinking she can talk like an 18 yr. old, to house hunting, and wedding jitters! Whew!! We finally have taken control of the reigns again, and are back on the steady path.
We also have many new changes that are about to began starting tomorrow Ash Wednesday....the beginning of Lent! There are many new changes that will be begin tomorrow, I just hope we can keep up!!
First off, we as a family have slipped back into our old habit of sitting at the coffee table again for supper. We will change this horrible habit and go back to eating supper at the dining room table with No T.V. on!
Jonathan said he is giving up sodas. He has also given up drinking beer except for when we go to social outings, but he started that last Wednesday, and has done an AWESOME job so far! Not too sure what the kids are giving up for Lent yet, but I know what I am going to have them do..........Keep a clean room and no clothes on the ground!!!!! As for me I need to get back to exercising and making healthier meals! I normally make an all around healthy meal, but I think I'm going to kick it into high gear and really get HEALTHY! Substitute baking for frying, and fresh healthy greens instead of mac-n-cheese, very rarely go out to eat, etc. These are some of the things we definitely plan on doing for Lent.
This year Jacob and Rheanna will both be playing Little League. This is Jacobs first year for T-Ball and Rheanna is in the 9-10 yr. old Fast Pitch Softball. We have been practicing with both of them, but with this crummy weather here lately we haven't been able to get outside much! I have started teaching Rheanna how to pitch, she has gotten pretty good at it but still needs lots of practice! Jacob is starting to get more into it, he likes to hit the ball but doesn't want you telling him how to do it. He gets frustrated a lot with Daddy and me trying to explain to him how to play, so.......I took the Manager position for his T-Ball team! It is going to be a whole new experience for me! The manager for any given team, is the go to person in charge. I have to be at the Little League Clean-Up day and pick up the T-Ball equipment from there. I have to go to the drafts, to pick out our team and also set up practice times. All at the same time as I have Rheanna in 4-H getting ready for the Fashion Show coming up and the arrival of her Broilers (chickens). Its going to be one whirlwind after another, but with the help of the wonderful Daddy/Jonathan we can make everything a success!!
We are also actively looking for a bigger house, and as soon as we find one.........Bye, Bye!! The kids are getting older and need their own rooms and we need SPACE!!! We have a few leads on some houses and are just in the waiting process! Which is driving me crazy, and making me so impatient! I know if one of the houses opens up it will be GREAT, and I know good things come to those who wait, but haven't I been waiting long enough!! But I am putting it all in God's hands! He will know when the right time is for us! I just hope it is soon!
Well these are some of the new changes in our life right now, and hopefully since things have started to smooth out some I will be able to update our blog more!
Until Next Time, God Bless!
